The artwork for this composition was finished over a month ago. As a matter of fact, it was the lack of follow-through on this piece that caused me to begin 1209 (one piece per day in December 2009) of which this is the fourth item. The theme of a “modern day cave painting” is derived from a painting I made over five years ago. The original piece resembled pre-historic cave paintings more than this one, but I think the style is similar.
