Flashback Trilogy, Pt. 1: The Meaning of Life = YEAH!

At the time (Summer 1999, Athens, Ohio), I was living-out in the country in a new duplex with my friend, Joseph. I hadn’t seen Travis in probably six months. Then, one night he just showed-up while I was working at the Burrito Buggy. Our friendship has always been… sort-of strained, at times, and we hadn’t parted fairly, so I was excited to see him again.
He visited me a few times that summer, which was marked by the re-emergence of the 15 year cicadas in southeast Ohio. This video clip was shot on the way to visit Aethelred Eldridge. I’d never gone out there before, but Travis had dropped-in on him a few times and he thought I’d be interested in going, as well.
