A friend told me about the Dream Machine quite a while ago, but I didn’t understand what he was talking about. Then, a week ago, I stumbled upon the idea on my own. After connecting the two, I figured it was something I had to try. So, I downloaded instructions on how to build one using a 45rpm record player, bought an old turn-table at a flea market, and constructed this dream machine. It’s a fantastic device. Not only does it work for me, but it creates a nice environment in a darkened room while it’s operating. Before trying it out the second time, I captured the bit of footage. This morning, I created a little musical piece to go over it, which is performed at 90bpm, so you’ll find it’s tempo fits appropriately.
